Optimism at 18

Optimism is a war where the greatest soldiers never even think about the possibility of death. 

And when they do lay fatally wounded... they think about a nice big piece of cake.

Anyway. I enjoy getting an enormous amount of thought on my birthday through facebook, yet it seems too easy. Same with birthday texts (though they seem a little more personal I can't help but feel like it's an excuse). I would much rather get a phone call and hear your wonderful voices. And if for some reason you can only reach me by text or facebook, make the effort and say something witty or meaningful. Otherwise thank you for the wishes.
